Mahama opens new Ridge hospital today

President Mahama will today, November 30, commission the Greater Accra regional hospital popularly known as the Ridge hospital.

The project was financed with a Government of Ghana mixed credit facility of US$250 million from Exim Bank and the HSBC Bank.

The rehabilitation works at the Ridge hospital is expected to provide the hospital with ultra-modern facilities and a 420-bed capacity to improve quality and expand access to health care delivery, particularly to its immediate catchment area.

The president is also expected to inaugurate the CIMAF cement plant in Tema later today.
