Ghana made it two straight wins at the ongoing African U17 Championship following a 5-0 demolition exercise performed on host nation Gabon on Wednesday.

The result ensures the Black Starlets who now have 6 points, advance to the semi-final of the competition and also become Africa’s first, to book a ticket to the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side started from the onset as inspirational skipper Eric Ayiah bagged a brace (his second in two games) after he opened the scoring from the spot in the 33rd minute.

The Charity FC forward now leads the scorers chart with four goals.

Eventual MVP of the game Emmanuel Toku also scored twice while second half substitute Patmos Arhin netted the fifth goal minutes after coming on.

Ghana now top Group A and will next face Guinea, who drew 1-1 with Cameroon in the earlier kick-off.
