Former NPP Chairman Stages Comeback Saying Supporters Are Not Feeling Their Party In Power

Former Western Regional Chairman Of Governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Owusu Ankomah Says He Is Staging A Come Back As A Regional Chairman Of The Party.

Nana Owusu Ankomah who was Western Regional Chairman for eight years , but lost out to current Chairman Dickson Atta Nketsiah during the 2014 regional elections ;” said many of the party supporters want to feel their party is in power so they are asking him to comeback as chairman of the party ,he added on Empire FM’ discussion programme , “Western Today” hosted by Kwame Malcolm.

Nana Owusu Ankomah said currently executives won power because Ghanaians wanted a change due to what he described as the abysmal performance of the then John Mahama led government. He argues that the party now needs matured and experienced politicians to manage the expectations of the grassroots and also to sell government policies and programs to win more seats and retain power in election 2020.
