Over two hundred workers of Takoradi Flour Mills are this morning demonstrating against unpaid allowances.
The demonstration has brought operational activities of the company to a halt.
The main entrance to the Company’s premises was blocked with workers spotted wearing red arm bands
Over 40 articulated trucks that have come to pick products from Kumasi and other regions have been left stranded at the entrance.
Attempts to speak to union executives on the demonstration has been unsuccessful as most of the workers remained tight lipped about the situation for fear of being victimized
Some of the workers are wearing red arm bands and gathered in groups at the depot.
A Stranded driver from Dormaa in the Brong Ahafo spoke to Empire News’ Emmanuel Ohene Gyan.

When contacted, Public Relations Officer of the Company, Percy Botchwey said the demonstration was an internal issue.
