AUDIO : TARKWA -DOMPIN POLICE ALLEGDLY LASHES A 29 YEAR OLD FEMALE

A 29 year old resident of Dompim in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality is accusing
the police station officer in the town for severely lashing her buttocks.
The victim, Sarah Darko explains the station officer brutally lashed her after she
refused to enter the police cell.
The lashing has left disturbing laceration on her buttocks. Narrating events leading
to the alleged dastardly act by the Dompin Station Officer Sarah said about two
months ago she came to meet her husband with another lady in their matrimonial
home.
She asked the lady to leave but she refused so she slapped her and the lady also
replied by hitting her on the forehead with her phone.
According to her the case was amicably settled by an elder in the town.
But only last week she was arrested by the police on accusation that she has
threatened to kill the other lady.
Sarah explains she told the station officer whose name has been giving as ASP
Alex that the accusation was unfounded but the station officer insisted and asked
her to enter the cells.

Amidst tears and pleas she refused. This infuriated the officer who proceeded to
lash her mercilessly before throwing her into cells.
According to her the station officer took a sum of GHC350 cedis – without any
documentation – before she was given bail.
Tarkwa divisional police Commander ACP Benjamin Ohene Bosompem told
Empire News that ASP Alex has been remove from the Dompim police station.
